today was the end of our first week for the fall season. the week was actually quite different than what we expected. things were very slow and we didn't have even close to the number of students we were anticipating. some of us have been feeling dissapointed and a bit discouraged. we spent a lot of time and put a lot of effort into planning and preparing things for the students this fall and so far have been met with no more than a handful of students. most of them new. all the people we have been in relationship with over the last year are no where to be found. so far.
but our faith happens to be bigger than our plans and all our work. i am sure the enemy wants us to be dissapointed and wants nothing more than for us to feel discouraged. but he underestimates my God and how much greater one word of encouragement from Jesus is than the thousand words of discouragement he tries to throw at us. so please pray with us that we would continue to hear our Father's voice and that satan's words would have no power over us.

I have some new pictures from this last week that i am trying to post on here so hopefully those will be up within the next week.

Also, Jengish is getting baptized tomorrow and is planning on doing a DTS in january so please be praying for him that God would strengthen him to do the work that is being placed before him and that he would have the wisdom to recognize the voice of God from the voice of the world. thanks

The greenhouse looks beautiful!!!

I'm sorry you didn't get the turn out that you wanted. Hopeftlly some of the people that you invested so much in last year come back. But praise the Lord for the new people you have drawn in! The Lord has brought them there for a reason.. maybe so that you could spend time getting to know the new people more than you would have if you were catching up with the people you already knew. Show the new people how much you care about them and hopefully they will bring more people!
